PEFC's progress and achievements worldwide are increasingly fast-growing year on year: more forest areas certified, new national members, additional PEFC-certified forest owners and companies benefiting from PEFC's Chain of Custody certification.

The achievements of the many global initiatives of the PEFC alliance in 2016 were represented on the PEFC Annual Review by separate image strips carefully juxtaposed to form one continuous, unifying horizon line running across the front and back covers.

 Launch: 2017
In its Annual Review 2015, PEFC invites readers to see the bigger picture of PEFC's many activities undertaken all over the world, and which all contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals, directly or indirectly.

To illustrate PEFC caring for forests locally and globally, and the use of satellite technology to monitor forest areas, a large photo mosaic was designed, consisting of separate PEFC images assembled to create a larger image of the world seen from space.

 Launch: 2016
“Towards the tipping point” describes the work and progress achieved in many different ways in 2014 by PEFC, the world's largest forest certification organisation.

This concept was articulated visually throughout the Annual Report, to illustrate the great and immediate potential of supply chains and retailers to give the sustainable forest management movement a further boost, for responsibly managed forests.

 Launch: 2015
Momentum has been gathering strength in the world of sustainable forest management, propelled by issues such as climate change, but so it has at PEFC thanks to a vast number of coordinated activities around the globe.

PEFC has leveraged this momentum to
achieve ever-more impactful results, as illustrated by the dynamic design of rolling wooden balls for the Annual Review 2013. The sustainable forest management momentum continues building.

 Launch: 2014
PEFC, the world's largest forest certification organisation is committed to conserving forests and their biodiversity, and supporting the communities and families that own, work, and live in and around forests.

The Annual Review was designed around the concepts of proximity and society. Large photographs and information graphics in a clean corporate layout emphasise how communities around the globe are fundamentally linked to the management of the world's forests.
