AfDB Inclusive Climate-Smart Finance
The African Development Bank has committed to ensuring climate-smart sustainability by improving access to climate-smart finance for African countries. Under the implementation of the first Climate Change Action Plan (2011-2015), the AfDB approved approximately 260 projects with climate-relevant components, with total investments estimated at US$ 12 billion. These contribute to inclusive growth and a gradual transition to green growth for the African continent.
