Regional sodium reduction targets - PAHO

Reducing dietary salt is the most cost-effective public health measure available to lower blood pressure and mortality. The updated PAHO targets in processed and ultraprocessed food products in the Region of the Americas provide an important tool to help countries setting national sodium reduction targets.
